How did I get here?

Not enough room here… “The Road Not Taken” – Robert Frost – a very long one 🙂 – but very happy I got “here”

My Training and Experience

I have undergraduate degrees from the University of Toronto in Engineering and Physiology. Also have an MHSc from the UofT’s Institute for Policy, Management & Evaluation. I’ve worked clinically with most populations – from critically ill premature newly born children to end-of-life care for frail elderly. Have held progressive leadership positions in various health sectors. Prior to joining OpenLab I was Commander for Mobile Integrated Health at Hamilton’s Paramedic Service and worked with the Greater Hamilton Health Network as Lead for the Health Care Navigation Service…and more…see me on LinkedIn.

My Achievements

My most memorable experiences have been the times when I’ve been able to positively affect a person experiencing challenges with poverty, marginalisation, and hardships – everything else is secondary.
