How did I get here?

I discovered OpenLab through their website and started attending their weekly Open Rounds just as they transitioned online during the pandemic winter. I was very interested in learning more about the projects related to virtual reality (VR) in healthcare as I considered another switch in careers. The virtual meetings were a perfect way to learn about both the work and the people at OpenLab and I was inspired to reach out to see how we could work together. Very early into collaborating with the VR team I knew OpenLab would be a great fit for me. I love that the people who work at OpenLab come from very diverse backgrounds and am excited to contribute my previous experience as an engineer and entrepreneur, along with my general creative spirit. I also have a pretty decent sense of humour.
