How did I get here?
My journey to OpenLab was circuitous, but through the various experiences I had prior to joining the team I gained the skills necessary to succeed. I started in university studying pharmacology, with an interest in medicine and healthcare as a whole but quickly realized that I wasn’t passionate about basic science or the work I was doing. Through working in both research and project management, I discovered design and went to do my masters in Translational Research. With my masters in hand, I had the design basics I needed to begin freelancing, and eventually leading to my work at OpenLab.
My Training and Experience
- MHSc: Translational Research and Innovation, University of Toronto
- BSc: Pharmacology and Biomedical Toxicology, University of Toronto
My Achievements
My biggest achievements are seeing the impact that projects like the Overdose Response Network and the Friendly Neighbour Hotline have on the communities we are working in.
