My Favourite Slogan/Quote:

“Many are stubborn in pursuit of the path they have chosen, few in pursuit of the goal.” – Friedrich Nietzsche

What’s close to my heart?

Food, fitness, battlestar galactica. I love doing things that matter, bucking the trend, trying new things, and a good pun or covert allusion.

What book is on my nightstand?

Nicomachean Ethics (Aristotle), Big Potential (Shawn Achor), and Harry Potter (always).

How did I get here?

I got the start to my career at Ivey Business School, where I fell in love with building new initiatives and turning around struggling ones. I developed a knack for social change and international development at AIESEC – a global non-profit empowering youth to achieve Social Development Goals through radical collaboration – where I ran the Canadian office. Afterwards, I realized it was time to build my own change, and I picked the slowest moving, biggest need in Canada: mental health. I founded and am the CEO of Resili, the first of its kind free, evidence-informed mental health app.

Through my work with Resili, I realized how much innovation potential the Canadian healthcare system has. I am committed to activating that potential at scale through various means – by teaching the Global Social Innovation course at the Schulich School of Medicine, by running the Global MINDS Collective for mindful social innovation, and through my work here at OpenLabs, the leading systems innovation lab in Canada.
