A random fact about me
I can circle my arms around my body. Yup.
How did you get here?
It was Valentine’s Day 2017, I still remember. I made my first visit to OpenLab to attend the Tuesday Open Rounds. At the time, I was near completing my Master’s degree in Translational Research, and was exploring opportunities where I could apply my design research skills. I was intrigued by the amazing things that happens here, and how much its work aligns with my interest and profession in knowledge translation, design thinking, human-centricity, and participatory design. The next thing I knew I was showing up at the lab every Tuesday. Soon after, I joined the fantastic team, and started contributing to different projects.
Discipline & Specialty
I am a translator; I translate fuzzy knowledge and insight into actionable ideas. I have a number of skills that help me do so: design research, co-creation, UX design, prototyping etc. But really, my specialty is in self-directed learning. I am always looking for new ways to expand my skill set!
